The FORScan Viewer application was developed to provide users with the ability to read and view information about the on-board network of Ford, Mazda, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. It offers support for a variety of recommended adapters, including the OBDLink MX+, vLinker FS Bluetooth, and vLinker FD BLE. However, it is important to note that using other ELM327-compatible WiFi or BLE adapters is not recommended, as it may result in the application not functioning properly.

When it comes to supported cars, the application covers Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models from 1996 to 2022MY, with some support for certain models from 1994-1995MY. Additionally, Mazda vehicles from 1996-2022MY are supported, although it should be noted that Mazda 7G models (such as the new Mazda 3, CX-30, MX-30, CX-50) may have limited or no support. Vehicles not falling under the Ford, Mazda, Lincoln, or Mercury brands are not supported.

The application's features include the ability to read and display information about the on-board network configuration of the connected vehicle, including Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) for all modules. It is important to mention that additional functions are available in the FORScan Lite application.
